For whatever reason, my web page on the S3 site appears to be corrupted with Chinese characters. I can't figure out what the problem is. Page opens normally on my PC before I upload it. Can some HTML savvy individual(s) have a peek? Not sure if the problem is on my page or the S3 index page.

Muzz,

It might be in your FTP program. If you could, Email me the file you want uploaded on that page and let me FTP it to see if it corrects.

I believe its fixed now .... I copied the file and cleaned it up and tested it on muzzmaps1.htm .... You will see this file name on the site. Upload to that one to see if it is in your FTP

I figured it out with your hint it might be a FTP issue. WinSCP was corrupting the file when I uploaded it using the "default" or "text" transfer options. When I used "binary" it loaded correctly. Not an HTML issue at all! Thanks for the help Doc.
oh, I deleted the muzzmaps1.htm file off the server just to clean things up.

Muzz - Thank you for your continuous support for our game.

I wish I could add to your "Overseas Holiday Fund". Alas - If I send you to ETO before I send my daughters, I will most likely be found in a field identified by dental records only.

Sakai,
No worries. I was supposed to be on holiday in Scotland for the end of May, but COVID-19 travel advisories got in the way.
Cheers.

I really appreciate the maps when available. When I click on your listed web page for the maps I am unable to open them. The list of maps appear but when I try to open one it fails. Do I need to do something simple? I am not very tech oriented.

Depending on your browser, when you left click on the link the file(s) may be downloaded automatically to your default download folder. If you right click you should have options on what to do with the link.
Most of the files are Zipped (from way back when bandwidth and d/l speeds were a problem), but the S3 Specials are now uncompressed .dds files.
After you unzip a file, you can view it with any graphics program that opens .dds files. However, the best way to view them is to save in your Warbirds root directory (replacing the default file) and open the terrain in Warbirds associated with that inflight map.
