My perception from frame 1 was that I was always in a vulnerable position. Low/slow/climbing etc... My hope for frame 2 is to try to have people in a position to overcome the difficulties we have here.
Radar everywhere .. didn't realize that 1940s had SO many radar sets everywhere in the world.
I would like to have targets available across the front... units will either loiter south or go in NOE to areas where the enemy is not in overwhelming numbers. This will mean that bombers will most likely be coming in up the middle, or off to one side to draw fighters away. I want the buffs to have smaller targets as that port complex north east is tough for even heavy bombers.
squads may be rotating striking and flying cover in the same sortie.
I will probably try to GCI and hope to be up to the task.
Each squad will be free to choose their airframe mix to best suit their purpose.
(including taking B25d instead of a fighter)
Targets and more info to come, and as always all thoughts and ideas are welcome.
