352nd, how do you want to cooperate with protecting the bombers? Who takes the front/sides/top/imbedded etc? Any prefered location?
I guess altitude is as high as we can get with droptanks as long as we have the bombers in sight.

That combined with Dawgers spawn point at 10,x would allow the buff to climb and form OTW to Iwo where the fighters can roll at t+0 to grab and meet the buffs.

Late join buffs could get the 20k airstart directly over Iwo.

Well, right now I am assuming no (or small 2K) airstart for the frame. Too late to change the timing.

Also, changing load-out to (40) 500lb bombs.

Out front "sweep". 5 thousand feet PLUS higher than the buffs (whatever altitude that happens to be) As I type this both the buff launch location and altitude are unknown to us as is our launch altitude. That makes testing time and altitude at the RP rather difficult. (Testing IN the S3 Arena for these parameters was accomplished yesterday and scrapped due to comments on the General Boards today. At present, all is unknown)

As posted in the orders, the buffs are shooting for 30K. the picture shows the route.

Am I missing something? Please let me know.

There have been at least two launch location proposals for the B-29s and at least two different launch altitudes. These items "may" effect the buffs arrival time and altitude at the RP. With a RP time of T+65 we must plan for endurance for the remaining portion of the mission. The amount of fuel and the time to be at the proper altitude at the appointed time under Event conditions is what we have not been able to test as the conditions IN the S3 Arena heretofore have not been those that will be present during the Event. (We did complete testing under the conditions IN the S3 Arena and subsequently learned that conditions through the end of the week were NOT REFLECTIVE of Event conditions.)
Other than that, we can hit 30 thousand feet and 65 minutes to your stated RP and fly your specified route. Should your altitude or RP location vary due to conditions in the Arena, I'm sure we will be able to accommodate any request that you make.

Yes, please go with the 2000 feet airstart for the bombers. We'll adjust for the RP.

I see the planned target alt being 30 K and wanted to mention the rules indicate heavy clouds at 28 K and above so we will need to adjust at some point if we have any hope of hitting targets.

I am having a major melt down with my computer. I can't get warbirds, email, team speak or even an Internet browser to work. I am on my wife's tablet and can only leave this message. Please let the squad know that one of the St experienced players will have to coordinate the mission to F71. I am always going that the buffs will up from Iwo at t+0 and loop south and meet the fighters at 30k.

If we get a 2k air start everything still remains the same. With the heavier load we may be a little lower but I will try to continually call out on the green channel.

I am not planning a tack channel. I plan on flying lead until shot down.
