Yes "ACAM", my dyslexia makes using "gun cam" easier...
You don't need action to review you ACAM.
Only for making videos.
You can make videos of you gun camera footage if you want while not playing.

I wouldn't leave the airbase without the ".slip 1" command :-)

Sunrae is a member of RCAF 416, however, he never gets on Vent, nor does he respond to text messages. We were RTB when he passed us going in. It places a mark above your gunsight and it is related to your yaw-slip. If the mark is centered you are flying straight. The more it's off-center, the more you are flying sideways through the air. It's just like the ball indicator but at a much easier-to-see position. It is a little bit off on the Bf109's though due to scewed gunsight position.

Slip indicator....Wolf has an excellent picture of the same effect with a piece of string on the nose of the plane:)

For those of us who don't have the wonderful jet education that Mr. Dobs happens to have.....the ".dot slip 1" selection represents a "yaw string". Most common in glider aircraft.

EDIT:
I altered my original graphic of the panel to include the instruments highlighted by the white box.
Those evaluating the possible use of the "dot slip 1" command may wish to note that the deflection of the HUD "yaw string" exactly duplicates the deflection of the "ball". It allows the pilot to know the "ball" information without having to look down at the panel. Just as an aside, there are any number of folks who would like to argue that the instruments in the white box are the ONLY ones "required" for flight.
