Thanks for the clarification. I understand that being on-time at RV point is paramount.
I think we can still do it at 35k or at least 30k easy. We know they will also be high (we encountered them at 32k on a previous frame).

I will pass this info up the command chain.

I also understand that hard deck for chasing away attackers is 20k, I assume the bombers will be much higher.

What alt will the bombers be at by RV time?
When doing the forward sweep into the target area what alt would you recommend?

Fighters, we will use TAC 16 for comms (Swede - Deak or myself will be overall lead)

23rd FG copies all. From our assigned field, 30k+ should not be a problem at all. I saw in the bomber thread that they were considering 22K, I hope they can push that to 25K. It won't be a problem for any 109's at that alt but the macchi's and esp. the 190F's (which are supposed to be strike planes :roll:

) will have a hard time.

22K at radar penetration at T+40

Hopefully they will use a high speed cruise climb technique to ease up to 25K by the green box
