Wow so much for a little planning I had done today.

We have 1 frame Mossies, 1 Frame P-38s. I think in one of those frames we should use the Mossies to unload on the shipping lanes.

I love the Mossie, 4 * 500 lbers and can fly the entire frame without refueling

I will have a new plan out tomorrow but it will be essentially very similar.

Bombers out of Africa.

Fighters will move forward and P38's will be striking.

Bomber Targets will be Town 14, and F56 (and its bridges for the fighters)

Bombers plan F196 to 14 then F56 with second sortie only if we can safely replane at F44.

Fun planning this all over again.

Never thought we would have western Sicily.

We have F44 - Medium (3 steps) F42 & F48 - Small (2 steps) and F91 & F96 - Grass (1 step) on Sicily, we going to base any fighters there?

Nightstalkers may base in Sicily.

I don't want ANYONE on radar prior to T+25 so anyone based there would have to sneak NOE until off radar to the fighter rally point at 3,6,8,3. Rally Point at T+23, 35,000 or above for Spitfires

If RCAF wants to do that you can base at F48. Other wise you will be in Africa with the same rally point requirements.

That is no problem for us. I will let you know which field we use.

Safer to stick with Africa launch, we can always refuel at 48 or anywhere on Sicily
