I will be doing the planning for the 475FG Frame CO duties.

I may not actually be attending the frame but I hope to. I am traveling Sunday and my presence depends upon airline schedules and hotel internet.

Have asked this in several forums without recieving any response:

* Is it possible for the FM team to edit the Spitfire IXe loadout to give it a 108 gal droptank as it actually should have?
* Would this take hours of coding or is it easily fixed?
* Who would have authority to make this change?

Without a droptank it has only 95 min of fuel, and it is a historical fact that the Spit IX could carry either a 36, 54 or 108 gal droptank.

It is easily fixed but it isn't going to happen in the middle of an S3 in which the Spitfire IX is involved.

Not the answer you wanted but updating FM's in the middle of an S3 is certain to cause protest.

Having an S3 on Memorial day weekend is a bad idea to begin with - not a true representation of good sticks and it seems more like testing FM's than S3 traditional. Most families in USA have a family and friends event, often with very uncertain travel involved.

Salute!

Looks good (and sorry could not attend, but I was captured by grandkids Sunday night despite bringing my TDY stick and such)

On behalf of all we buffers, PLZ let us figure fuel and eggs and climb power and so forth. It is sufficient to make the mission goal clear and include ToT, lurch base and a rough route. We can negotiate cruise altitude/speed and such, but the biggies are the exact tgts to go down and when they go down.

Buffs should have good turnout this frame as most of us are vets and/or were TDY over the week end.

Nomads are up to 4 and not sure about UMM, but figure 2 or 3.

But can it be done soon so we can have it for the next time we have the Spit IXe in the air. No drop tank really limits the range and usability of the Spit :x

I need bomber details in the next 24 hours. I have already test flown the route I proposed and have a rough fighter plan based upon it. Bombers need to be southwest of 53 (4,6,4,7) at T+ 42. After drop bombers need to egress direct F 196.

I don't care how the bombers get to 4,6,4,7 at T+42 but that is where and when. Direct to F53 after that until the fighters are in view. Once fighters pick up the visual. (3-5 minutes T + 47) they will maintain visual.

Stay together, hit the primary, turn west and hit the secondary if possible and direct home.

Bombers will hit F53 except bridges as primary target.

Secondary is F39.

Tertiary are HQ's in the Trapani's

Second sortie needs to go direct to 2,6 X after takeoff for fighter rendezvous. After that fighters will be visual.

I want to make sure I understand your vision for timing. Are we cleared to attack the northern most bridges as early as we tactically can or in line with 475th/AE's attacks?
