1st Sortee: launched from CV with heavy Zero's our assigned TGT was Dar EM at 23 at T+40..we arrived over TGT.AQUIRED Dar mast.N waited for Buff Group. To put first bombs out...upon hearing given word we attacked N destroyed radar closing the base..With high cap over us..I ordered our strike package to field 7.where we staffed down Dar mast closing the base.we then headed for field 6..we staffed down some TGT mainly ack guns ..but ran out of ammo so..we RTB'd..to re arm..

2nd Sortee: we was on flight deck waiting on buffs to roll we got Dar. Contact the enemy fighters was near..Hawk ordered us to roll N engage said force.we had a really nice fight with some p-40's..killing 5 to 1 lost air frame in this engagement. When the action died off we regrouped New headed to buffs for escort duties...no enemy was seem we rub with strike package N stood down for the night..

Tally closed 23 and 7
killed 5 p-40's for 1 lost pilot
