Those of us that have flown this game for so many years have seen many pilots come and go. Some fit right in and stay becoming like family you look forward to visiting. Some of those unfortunately pass away while still enjoying the game play and relationships made. They are honored by Wild Bill and staff to forever fly as AI and it's nice to occasionally see them making the rounds.

Last night on my first sortie I was treated to having both of our two such valued and missed NS members join me as wingmen. I think only those you that appreciate what we do here can can relate to the strange comfort I felt by seeing them there....right where they would be, if they were still with us. <S> to all that we have lost! In our case, stlrai (steelrain) and norron.

That is good to see, as it was to have Badger as one of my wingman in Frame 1. His son in working on his gear and will be joining us shortly, nice to see the generations flowing through the ranks.

Bckroo is the son of Barvic and it is nice to see them both flying as part of the RCAF 127 Wing.

As I spend a lot of time offline with the AI, I get to see these names often and I share the sentiment expressed.

It is always evocative of good times of years past when a name long forgotten pops up.
