Hey Jabo,

Here is the only screen shot I have showing the missing towns on the in game map. I placed field numbers and circles around the five missing towns.

This was the exact moment I realized I had missing fields, well into Sortie 2.

Sakai,
I assume the fields exist when you fly over them, so I'm guessing there may be some lines missing in the "crimea.fld" file. It's a text file that defines what icons are displayed in the inflight map. Can you open your version pf the file and confirm that those field numbers are present or not?

Somehow the download may have been corrupted like Muzz says. I would delete that file and check for updates again to get a new one.

From everything the 352nd can tell, this appears to be a mac-only issue.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirts ( and old cpu's)
Had exclusively macs from day one.... brother built me 2 pc's. Not bad machines, just quirky.
Found out the Mac is overall the best bang for me.
