In your favor Wolf....

Sort by file type find first .dds left click, find last .dds file press shift and left click...Voila all selected. Control C. Create folder called DDS files within your WB directory and then paste them in there.

Update.
Go back and copy files from DDS file folder back to HD. All your previous DDS files are now back.

I actually have a batch file on my desktop that does not only that but copies down an empty quiturl.txt file. Then every time I do an update the fist thing I do is run the batch file, and all the correct .dds files are put back in place as well as disabling the nagware webpage that opens when I quit Warbirds. One button fixes everything and no need to go digging through file explorer.

Share the contents please :)

Yeah, Zilla, Please.

I hate the nagware, but I hate even more, that default bail.wav screech.

Copy the contents into notepad and save the file as something like "fixwb.cmd". Save it to your desktop or then place a shortcut to your taskbar or Start Menu.

Warbirds for me is in the following directory: "C:\iEntertainment Network\WarBirds 2015".

I have a subdirectory called MuzzMaps that has the custom map files as well and en empty file called quiturl.txt (just open Notepad, don't put anything in the file, and then save it as quiturl.txt.

cd C:\iEntertainment Network\WarBirds 2015
del quiturl.txt
copy MuzzMaps\*.dds .
copy MuzzMaps\*.fld .
copy MuzzMaps\quiturl.txt

Then whenever you run the update, click a button and all the important stuff is fixed.

Nothing wrong with the FB page, just hate it being forced as a pop-up.

Deleting the quiturl.txt file does NOT stop the nagware. NAGWARE. So appropriate.

You need to edit the quiturl.txt file...delete the contents (or put another url in there) and save the file.
