I know the next frame is 3 weeks away but I figured I would get something on the boards before the holiday madness.

Ill start with what rides we have left: (frame) Ride

JG 475:
(1)109
(2)190a4

Lf6:
(1)109
(1)190a8
(1)190a4

JG 127:
(2)190a4
(1)109

JG100/AE:
(2)109
(1)190a4

Here is some stats:
Frame 1 saw the Axis with (15) 109 strippers and (33) 190 shooters. 7 of 15 bombers were shot down.
Frame 2 saw the Axis with (21) 109 strippers and (28) 190 shooters. 14 of 14 bombers were shot down.

Of note:
In Frame 2 the buffs took forever to get out of Berlin and this Is why they lost them all. We cant count on that again.
Some players have had success taking out bombers when switching out the guns package on the 109 to the g6R6. This is worth considering for future frames as we have used most of our 190 A-8s.
The Bulls eye Grid DDS from Dawger is nice to have and you do not need Drop Box account to Download it.

edit: correct nomenclature ;)

Dawgers grid system is a Bullseye grid.

Just for future reference and accuracy of nomenclature.

Listen to modern fighters, or command and control aircraft: Working in Bullseye--

"Eagle 1 Fox III Bullseye 300/45, 15k. Crank North" :)

Once you get used to it, is is a nice thing for a quick mental picture.

The 190A4 is a strongly armed aircraft for killing buffs, the advantage it has over the A8 is that in the hands of a skilled pilot, it is a fairly good fighter. :)

I guess it is a little early to look for orders, we have until next year till we S3 again ;)

Well, Here are the roles:

Strippers:

JG100/AE traditional stripping , focus on timing with the first (second if possible) group of shooters and concentrate on pulling the close escorts off. I am thinking 109s for this role.

JG475 aggressive strippers. Engage enemy fighters at earliest convenience and get fighters to drop tanks and leave the buffs. Then make them pay for it. Second sortie could be preventing reception escort. Ride is your choice, I think 190s might make your mission easier.

LF6 shooters. your choice ride. You may want to save your A8s for a later frame. You are the last group to have any.

JG127 shooters, ride choice is yours.

Depending on what the shooters are wanting to shoot with I will have lead shooters on coms with the JG100/AE to coordinate hitting just after they hit the escort. The second group of shooters will coord with first group to hit the buffs shortly after. Lets get a strong 1-2-3 punch on the buffs and escorts. Hopefully the 475th will already have got the trigger happy escorts off the buffs.

Ill figure out basing later.

Happy New year all.

Hey Timos, I believe that JG127 will take 190A4's into the buff stream for Frame 3. :)

I think if LF6 goes in first, we should be about D10-20 behind so the escorts are still deciding what to do about LF6 when we pound into the Buff stream.

We will use TAC 16 if that is good for LF6 ;)
