BOMBER COMMAND PLANNING_ FRAME 2

OK, it's sunday and no dtf yet.

unless I hear otherwise, I am going to put together a DTF to go to either 33 or Berlin.

It will be a modification on last weeks not a complete redo.

Please let me know if someone did or is doing it already!!

I assume we up at T-30, 70% fuel, CS 150?, B24's, 1600lb's?

Moi? Non.. c'est bolok générale :-)

It was ordered to go to Berlin w/ B17, 500lbs and that's what I assumed.

If we take B24s w/ 1600lbs then I suggest no more than 65% fuel. we will still make it to good alt in about 50 minutes.

Do you happen to know how long it takes in Frame Time for the buff stream to reach to little boat at 5,8,5? Takes us +/- 40 minutes from takeoff.

I suggest the B24 if going to Berlin. Bigger payload, but I defer to you sir....

73 minutes if we fly the route prescribed in B24Ds.
