Gents here is the plan. Please let me know if you see any problems

OBJECTIVE: Destroy fields 81 & 82, Sink as many ships a possible, shot down as many AI aircraft as we can find. Kill every Allied aircraft that dares to fly.

ROUTES: please try to follow routes this way we have support near if Squadrons need help. We will adjust as the battle develops.

RADIO BUFFER: we will use tac 22 for all groups. I will broadcast on country channel (red) in caps.

FIELD ASSIGNMENT:
F42—RCAF 127 (2) Steps
F50—United Mud Movers (1) Step
F-51—LF-6 (2) Steps
F-52—Knights (3) Steps
F53—LF-6 (1) Step
F54—352nd (2) Steps
F57—352nd (1) Step

Knights: Lift from field 52 hit field 81 on first run 82 on second run. Please hit ack so fighters can strafe if needed. RTB and then hit 82 doing the same. Knight fighters provide close air support for bombers. (Swanee I can base the Knight fighters down at field 64 if you guys want to get out front of the bombers) Fighters may want to go hvy. Hawk, Gums if you can provide us a timeline it would be great.

UMM: Lift from field 50 and link up with Knights Gums please coordinate with Hawk on targets

127: Lift from field 42 move south toward field 96 recommend you go light first sortie. I have a strong feeling that you will encounter fighters from 96 coming north for the ships.

352nd: Lift from fields 54 & 57 head toward the 5,6 cross area for cap be prepared to support 127 to the east or Knights to the west as needed. Intercept fighters coming north from 81 & 82 going for our ships.

LF-6: Lift from fields 51 & 53 head toward fields 90-93 try to form up looking like a buff group, I want to try and make them think we are going back to those fields. Intercept and kill all allied aircraft you can find.

NOTES: Fighters stay out of ack, it is very strong and accurate. My feeling is the allied will continue to go after our AI planes and ships. Please report locations of all AI ships and aircraft. It looks like all our fighters are zeke’s this week use your altitude advantage. Remember the guns on the p40’s & P39’s will make quick work of our aircraft.

RECOMMENDATION: Squadrons use a wide spread to scout a larger area.

Banzai!

Be advised that UMM and Knights may have to adjust route to get a favorable run-in course.

Secondly, Gums is attached to the Knights this series, but will still do everything possible to help coordination and such. Hawk and Nofly already have great coord, so I won't have much to do except check on some of the hardness values and nail down the timing.

Sounds great Gums I figured the buffs would have to go east some then turn in for the best lineup.

The enemy posted a great video on how to attack ships with bombs. The Ki43 carries two good sized 250kg bombs that should be good for the FRs and boats you encounter. The enemy was more successful using bombs than strafing. Boats and FRs can be strafed but it takes a lot of doing with HMGs. Dont bother doing this with DDs. You probably will be killed before you can get close enough to strafe and they have armour so are not worth stafing.

I was looking at the scoring summary and last frame the Allies closed 2 Ports @ 24 pts each and a village for 10 pts, total 58 points. We close a large field (18 pts) and a medium field (16 pts) for a total of 34 pts. Perhaps we should close 1 field and 1 port.

With the new line, they have Port 67 which is closer to us then it is to them.

hogjaw-

64 will work good for KoN fighters, thanks.
We'll roll heavy in case we're needed for mop up.

- Nofly's timing is wthin 30 seconds of mine.

- run in line for F-82 is really nice. Gotta check more hardness but houses go down if just close - got all 6 at the base with salvo of 4 250's

- I don't think all the tgts listed by Nofly have to go down to close the fields for operations, or even points.
