Thought I would start a thread for this to make the questions obvious

1 - you mentioned tanks. Are you going to have AI tanks or are you talking about the static tanks at 77/78? Static Tanks

2 - Basing, Is this the same as last series (i.e. home bases) or can we re-base if we want? If we have to stay at home bases, what is the backup MOB (rules have the wrong base listed)?

3 - Score table? can you at least tell me what the score will be for specific targets both for us and the AX? this make a huge impact on targeting.

Thanks!

Another Question,
The "Coast Watchers" are AL. Coast watcher F59 has DAR, Do we have that (until the IJ destroy it)?

Last thing (for today).

I really don't like to complain (I very seldom have ever) but....
There must be something wrong with the terrain. Why does the AL have so little DAR?

We already are going to be pushed hard, having so little DAR is going to kill us. If they take out 94 and 103 we have nothing in the south. if they take out 92 and 86 and Port Moresby will be completely naked. Why does the IJ have DAR at 15 out of 28 bases and AL have it only at 8 of 23 when the IJ used very little DAR during the war? I believe this is a terrain issue and should be resolved before Sunday.

All the coastwatcher stations have dar even in Japanese controlled territory, you forgot to indicate those.

are you sure? I did cmeye and could not find them even looking a long way from the spawn point. There are NOT radar stations or towers at all the coastwatcher stations.

Must be "simulated" radar, aka boots on the ground, eyes in the sky" :)

Works better..hard to "kill" that!

Yes they are hidden away from the tower to stop wild weasels like gums :) I made sure of them before the final release. As for the lack of other radar at airfields etc that was by design mainly because this terrain will likely not be suited for any use in the main. People forget we have coloured dots again, before we used all grey dots for years so the range of radar has decreased somewhat but its effectiveness has increased.
