OK we need points. Anyone against us decimating their southern targets?
close 21 and the port, plus going after 281, or 141 again.
The lites can use P39 if they wish for a little more firepower. But remember, they will have 202s
added.
Chime in with preferred rides and bases, since I still don',t know which are 1,2,3,or 4 step fields.
My maps don't show S,M,.or L fields and can't tell from colors.
Strike squads can kill ACk and buffs clean out tgts while lites cover them, but we stay below 15k
and if it suits us, we can split the 23rd and 4th with ord and cap.
Let me know ASAP.
Sorry for the lateness.

I don't think you will get any points for hitting a closed field, once a field is closed, it is done for the series.

When planning make sure to read my post on truck strength. Maybe jabo can fix it before time but if not its a game changer.

I have a picture of a truck sitting in a 2000 lb hole with 500 lb hole edging it. Wanted to post it but couldnt figure out how.

Salute!

F281 shows closed on the S3 PDF map, and I could actually fly in the S3 arena this afternoon.
++++++++++++

Working F21 mission for DR coord and hopefully for some help from Little Friends and Strikers. So will post Sat early as I can. For now, we have to take out 4 x 88 acks before the low alt folks have a fighting chance.

The port there is really big, so it may have to wait a frame.

There are two LW fields close enuf to hurt us, besides the JG folks at F21, heh heh.

Rgr forgot 281 closed. We could close 21 and how about 193,or 11, or 221?

F193 is field with few targets. Could be easy to close, I think.

Salute!

The Nomads are requesting (maybe demanding) F2 for our mission. Should have room for one step, maybe 2 ( gotta confirm). Trying to free up F32 and such for DR and others.

If we get F2, then we can hit the acks at F21 approx T + 17 from our takeoff.

Our DTF is over on the DR/Nomad planning thread.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

IMPORTANT!!!!! We really need some lites over the tgt area at least 5 minutes before we get there, or we'll wind up like Frame 1.

a) the lites can hassle with LW and help us get there
b) having lites over the tgt area will help to confuse the 88's until we drop and wipe them off.

Ok sorry i'm late, but this root canal hurts like hell.
Nomads base at 25 to hit 21 with DRs.
DRs based at 32 to meet the Nomads down south
and help on 21. Strikers can try to close 193 qnd the lites will cover.
Can put the RCAF at 3..your choice of aircraft.
Will base 4th 2 steps at 18 and 1 step at 19 with 23rd 1 step
23rd can have 1 step at 19 and 2steps at 10
Trying to keep it simple this frame and be flexible for changes on the fly.
The only prob I find is where to base the Ferrets and NS?? Also Gums...
field 2 looks like small field. Only single engine a/c allowed at small fields/?

More later.
Thank you gummy...the Ferrets and Night Stalkers can use F2.
I'd like the lites to cover this effort, but try not to be on enemy DAR until buffs and/ or strikers get there.
Incidentally, uf those circles on the game map are radar range, they are 20mile diameter, not radius, so beware.
If we have time for a second attack, we will figure it then.
GL all

Salute!

Our lawyers tell us that even if we can takeoff from F2 due to our amazing skill, that we have to use F32 or F25.

Nomads are flexible, but we only have so many "legal" fields" for our Mitchells.

We can use 32 or 25, but our ToT will be later if we use 25. Looks like F25 is "medium" so we could save F32 for the DR, as they have more steps.

I'll re-do the DTF for Nomad mission from F25, but figure another 7 - 8 minutes for us to get there, and we may not be able to fly a second sortie.

The field restriction crapola is really getting tiring, gotta tellya. Gotta look to see if we can hit something if we land short and "ferry" back to F25 for a second go. Sheesh.

EDIT!!!!!! GASP! F25 is a friggin't dirt field. This ain't right. Sucker should have nice hard runway and a nice hootch bar. We can still contribute, and at least we have a good sense of humor that is now being tested. END EDIT

What field you want AE's to work out of. We can fighter support some of these actions, But don't have an assigned field.
