Operation: Katze und Maus
Airfield & Airframe Assignments as follows: (we can discuss airframe changes between now and sunday evening)
Fighter Groups 4th Field 47 1 step BF109 1 step MC200, 1 step BF110 LF6 Field 110 BF110s AE Field 78 BF110 100th/Checkmates field 43 MC200
Assault Groups: Knights/Nomads field 36 DO17 & BF109 Night Stalkers Field 40 JU87
First part of the frame will be quick strikes and feeling out the enemy locations
SQUADS 4th Roll with heavy fuel to concentrate along the 2,10 thru 6,10 grids while also including the 3,9 thru 5,9 grids You will be on call to help in that area but also feel free to carry ordinance to use on tank yards and other targets of opportunities in the 3,9 thru 5,9 grids. (bombing is secondary, do not hesitate to dump ordinance if necessary, or allocate within the squad those duties) Early be looking for news of Nightstalkers/100th in the 90 area and possibly intercept in tehe 4,10 grid
100th/Checkmates move forward to the 90 area and "poke the bear" see if we get a response. The nightstalkers will be coming in after you to bomb 90, Cover the bomb drop then proceed south if unopposed. draw enemy into 4,10 grid if possible. Do not get sucked into an overwhelming brawl. Further missions will be sweeps to the south and working in conjunction with the 4th & Nightstalkers.
LF6 Sweep towards 86 working with the AE and Knights/nomads. AE will be out in front testing the waters. Knights will be attacking the Medium field at 86 at approximately T+50 (Knights have final say on Time On Target) You will need to be air superiority offensive and defensive. Later in the frame you are free to attack ground targets if the opportunity arises. Protect our assets but avoid being outnumbered where possible.
AE You will be the tip of the sword here. You will fly towards 86 and try and disrupt the formation of hurricanes if possible. Draw them back towards LF6, do not charge into a bad position, get in and out. Patrol our borders where applicable and try to be available to receive the knights after their assault. If things are quiet you are free to attack ground targets.
Strikes Night Stalkers Roll east and attack 90 in conjunction with the 100th, get out quick. Rearm and float along the front lines and look for gaps in enemy coverage. Attack tank positions, fortifications etc. Avoid contact. Look to the 100th and 4th for help.
Knights/Nomads Target will be the medium field at 86. We want to time your assault to near T+50 in order to try and catch them low on fuel. If this target is not possible, please choose several smaller targets on the front lines in order to get multiple missions in. Alert both the AE and LF6 as to your target and Time on target as they will be doing a sweep towards 86 earlier in the frame.
After the initial strikes, I'd like the squads to pick and choose front line targets to hit. Avoid contact, we can sting the edges and keep them guessing. We should try to get all the strike squads working together at this point.
Airframes assigned will follow shortly.

Just out of curiosity anyone use mines against a port? I know the Do17 carries them and they have been fixed but I wonder if you drop them next to a docked ship would it explode and destroy not only the ship but the nearby dock as well?
