What a difference a week makes. The Allies strung by the harsh score of Frame 3 came out swinging and within the first 30 mins had closed 5 outposts before the Axis could get their first response. But the Allied success didn't hold in the first air to air battles with the Allied bomber force being quickly shot down on their first sortie. A few brave B25s would continue flying during the night but in the end they were all victims of the deadly axis fighters. Luck wasn't with the German stukas either with AAA being again particularly deadly in this terrain and many low level attacks were shot out of the sky by small caliber weapons. So within the first hour of operations each side was down to just a few dedicated strike a/c and the fighters had to carry the strike burden in the final frames. It was here that the Allies proved supreme; in the end closing 12 locations to the axis 5. This allowed the allies to move the front east 8 locations for the final frame. But the axis superiority in attacking allied tanks and shooting down allied a/c made up the points gap.

Allies won the frame but it was close; 75.30 vs 73.85. Please review the score in all the details in the summary pdf on the main page above.

The axis still hold a commanding lead, 368.15 to 283.70, going into the final frame of the event.

Good Luck!

Salute!

To echo Beaver's whine, it would be nice to see what the actual map is like for the final frame.

Looks like several bases/outposts are gonna be changed, and it's hard to plan until we see the map or have the online S3 arena up to check.

Gums whines.....

Sorry about that guys I thought I had uploaded the new changes. The arena is setup with the new fields.
I am on the road right now so cant update until I get home.

Front has moved 8 locations east.
F30, F70, F14, F15, F49, F55, F47 and F62

Allies have a forward airfield in F14 to operate from. Remember though if you homebase is closed you must return and land at F10 or F6 and use that as a base for the remainder of the frame. This map is just too small.
