So I make my point clear-I could care less about head count!!!

My point is,it should have been a no-fly day--I'm not, never have been a "stats Guy--like many I see" just look at mine- I just think as a group we should have an input as to schedule.
Folks , this is a game--get over t!

Regarding the axis vs allied pilot count for last night posted above, that was for the whole frame. Many pilots logged in quite late due to the holiday. The 23rd mustered only 7 for the first sortie, which severely hampered our effectiveness. Axis squads probably faced the same issue at the start of the frame, though, which does bring into question the reasonableness of having an S3 on a holiday. I am fortunate to have an understanding wife that allowed me to excuse myself from our family holiday get-together to "play with my imaginary friends" (as she cells you all). I know many guys are not so lucky.

at T+0, there were 56 Axis and 32 Allied. That was what the roster said. I checked several times throughout the frame and the Allies never hit 40 and the Axis was always above 40.

It was 6 pilots in the air 1 on gci. Bout half strength first sorte. Rest came in later in ones or twos halfway thru other missions and we never got together for a full squad sorte......it was what it was

Low numbers due to Major Holiday....enough said.

Even my 12 year old said "You have an S3 on EASTER?".... Read Gums post about deconflicting the year ahead...

Count me as a yes vote for dropping a series.

It would allow us to take more holidays off and maybe even end the season a little sooner. :o

The S3 is a greatly appreciated thrill but my hiking boots, backpack, and fly rod always seem lonely in late May and June. :D

I'd wager others have similar dilemmas.

I can go for that too. A little bit of time between series would be nice and would help to keep the S3 special.

The main reason we are rushing to get things done by July 1st is attendance really drops off then. Much easier if we only have 5 events in a year rather than 6. Probably could end in June and have all major Canadian and US holidays off, plus superbowl and mothers day. Same thing happened when we flew on mothers day so please dont ask why its off.
