Does anybody want to fly a certain aircraft for this frame? Our fighter groups have 1 frame in Spit VC's, 2 Frames in Spit IXe and 2 Frames in P38.
Bomber groups have the same 1 Frame in B25D's, and 2 Frames in each of B25C's and B17F's.

If I could have preferences by Thursday, I should have some preliminary orders up Friday evening, with time to modify if required. ;)

Fighter Info

Spit VC has 4 * 303 plus 2 * 20 MM Cannon - can carry a 500 lb bomb or a 300l drop tank

Spit IXe has 2 * 50 Cal and 2* 20 MM Cannon - can carry 2 * 250 lbs and NO drop tank (gotta fix this issue)

P38F has 4 * 50 Cal and 1* 20 MM Cannon - all in the nose- can carry 2 bombs up to 1,000 lbers or 2 150 Gal Drop Tanks

Flight Data

Spit V Spit IXe P38F MC202VII 109G2 FW190
Flighttime 53 58 56 52 48 50 at 100% Throttle
-- CSpeed 155 165 145 150 154 165
-------- 5K 300 320 315 315 330 340
------- 10K 320 345 340 338 350 350
------- 15K 345 365 355 355 365 370
------- 20K 355 375 365 355 385 390
------- 25K ----- 385 370 350 390 385

Looks like we are slower in general, we have 1 frame in the Spit VC and they have 1 frame in the 190A4.
The 109G2 is the ETO version so it is much more agile than a usual 109.

The Machi 202 has either 2 303's or 2 303's and 2 50 Cals. I flight tested the VII version as it has 4 guns.

We'll take them in this order:

Frame 1 - B25 D
Frame 2 - B25 C
Frame 3 - B25 C
Frame 4 - B17 F
Frame 5 - B17 F

Thanks <S>

If you leave the B17's for the end, you may need to deal with a bunch of FW190's. I was thinking of using B17's first frame and maybe catch themwith no 190's in the air.

There can be FW190 a/c in every frame. There is no reason why they should save them just for the last one or two frames. Every squad gets them, right?

If you need long range escort, 4th will take P-38; if not long range esccort.
then either Spit Vc or Spit IXe frame 1.

Every squad gets to the 190 for only 1 frame in this series. The 352nd tend to save their best aircraft for the last frame. (Using this kind of format anyway)

Salute!

I go with the DR's. And why in the hell do we have to fly a B-25D? Sucker is virtually identical to the "C". So we may as well have 3 mandatory missions in the "C" and 2 in the early Forts.

- The big buffs might be worth it to make a tour of the smaller Axis targets at a fairly low altitude before staging a gorilla at some large target later in the series. But gotta talk with the DR's.

- To all the lites!!! The Mitchells this series do not have a tail gun, so it's gonna be tuff unless we are NOE or have a few Little Friends around

- Need a legend for our PDF arena map. Hard to tell what's what, not figure out where the most damage hurts the Axis other than blowing up tanks.

Gonna poll the Nomads, but we are thinking Mitchells for first frame, then use the Forts later.

Gums sends...

If that is so, I'd rather be riding in a B17F when they come calling. At least they have better guns than the B25s we are flying this series.
