Just to attempt to be consistent: This task could be permanently eliminated by the terraformers by getting rid of the damn trees that any combat engineer would have done on his own without even being ordered to do so. Trees score NO POINTS. Stats for what the players have to do to make the field "playable" is, likely, a valuable tool for "follow-ups" on the original terrain build. The "floating buildings" aren't in much of a different category.
