TS Frame IV orders With the front line right at field 37 it is my assumption they will hit it and hit it hard right from T+0. I will not try to defend it. They can have 5 steps possible on New Georgia plus 4 more on their CV. I want to try to eliminate the CV's to force 4 Steps back to the Russell islands if they will even have to fuel to get back there. The first sortie for everyone will be to locate the CV. Once it is found I will cap it with LF6 and the 23rd. I would then like 100 / 127 to cover the Knights on ingress.
Knights: 3 Steps, Field 2 Full fuel and torpedoes. You do not have to roll at T+0 but have your guys ready and waiting for the command. I would like as many torpedo planes as you can get together. Including your fighters if they feel comfortable doing it. If they prefer to fly a close escort than that will be your call. (have them carry bombs if they do). It will be important for you to keep me informed of your heading and grid location at all times. Once the CV's are reported and their heading is confirmed, I will try to get you set up on an approach that will get you in with the least amount of notice to the allied. You may climb to an altitude of choice but you will need to be near the deck on the drop. Please stay north of the 9 latitude until directed to the CV. I will have 100 / 127 also escort you in and out.
100 / 127: 3 Steps, A6M3 Field 6 100%+Tanks and bombs. Spread your guys out and fly east in the eight grids and try to locate the CV. If found drop your bombs on it and stay with it until LF6 and the 23rd can get there to cap, then have your guys escort the knights.
23rd: 3 Steps, A6M3 Field 16 100%+Tanks and bombs. Spread your guys out and fly east in the seven grids and try to locate the CV. Once found stay with it. Do your best to drop your bombs on the CV's. Be careful to not rip your wings off. Try to draw the ack away from the Knights as they approach.
LF6: 4 Steps, A6M3 CV's 100%+Tanks and bombs. Spread out South and Southwest in the 6 and 7 grids and fly west and try to find the CV's. Do your best to drop your bombs on the CV's. Be careful to not rip your wings off. Try to draw the ack away from the Knights as they approach.
Please report locations of any other ships that you see and these can be alternative targets after the CV's are dead. All of our groups will be at altitude except the knights. If you see any low moving targets report them and have an element of your group check them out and destroy if possible and then return to scouting for the CV's.All other sorties will be planned on the fly depending on timing and circumstances. Any changes will be made in
RED.
Any questions or concerns can be posted below and I will address them when I can. I do understand that in the fog of war the plans change on the fly and everything will not go as I seen it while writing the orders. Please do your best and I will try to compensate for what I see happening on their offensive to limit the damage.
Good Luck.
