too many times a frame co is left with bas decisions because we have smaller groups that take up an entire step yet are not big enough to really count as a step.

And...we have large squads that fall short of being a larger step because not enough guys .

The co's of the frames need to be allowed to mix and match by number of pilots - not steps per say.

My 2 cents

Your 2 cents won't go far in Canada, we stopped using pennies in October, so your 2 cents would round to 0 cents :D

With all due respect Beaver, the US exchange rate would make Weiser's 2 cents more valuable.

But not worth 3 cents which is required to round up to a nickel's worth. :D

Anyway, I didn't mean to hijack your thread Weiser, I tend to agree with you.

We were in that position, usually having 3 pilots, but taking up a whole step, and when with TK whole had 3 pilots at a time, we took up 2 steps, when in reality we only had enough for 1 step.

We decided to merge with RCAF 416 to form RCAF 127 Wing, with 2 or 3 squads, RCAF 401,416 and 417, though we haven't had any 401 pilots for a few years. When we merged we usually had 10-12 pilots, good for 2 steps, but lately we have had 8 pilots, just over 1 step.
