Short notice I'll take it....quick FRAGO as for the most part due to the F4Fs fuels limit the fighters will be mostly defensive. Pretty much ALL of the enemy targets are out of adequate fighter cover range.

Ordrers:
4th FG F59 General CAP over Henderson field area.
VFA-211 TF CV 2 Carrier duty
352nd FG F53/54 Russel Islands CAP and escort if called on.
Nomads(22nd,305th,AG-8) TF CV 1
Night Stalkers TF CV 1
American Eagles TF CV 1 You get Carrier Duty
Dolittle's Raiders F60 Strike targets around the edge or if you want to hit the F37/38/40 area coordinate with 352nd so they can give you some fighter cover..they will be at max range.

Hopefully I have not over stacked the CVs in the north.

Nomads/NS I looked and there is some good shipping off of F33 (6+ships) and static ground aircraft. Might be able to get in there and torp those ships and kill the planes.... That would be my thoughs for you guys is to work the 33/32 area.

DRs you have the numbers give me an idea on where you want to go.

The rest...stay flexible......and kill them all!!

CV grps look good. You can base 6 steps at each because they have two CVs each.

Range of the F4F4 is better than you think. Last series we had this matchup we had very long recces by F4Fs with proper fuel management. I remember the 4th in particular going long distances in them.

That was TBird and I. We circled the entire map, recon'd two cvs, evaded a small group of high zeroes and managed to land on our cv with little to spare. If I am not mistaken we got 2.5 hours in that one mission.

Salute!

Couldn't use the Allied CV for practice. Further, the "practice/dueling" arena has the "back off the stern bug".

Expect a slew of resets due to being unable to practice CV takeoffs.

Maybe the arena could be reset real quick before we get serious tonight.

CV issue for TO. Start engine the slowly increase throttle until you begin to roll, once you see you'r rolling give it the gas. Works every time.

TNX, Bomber. Tried it from F58 with mixed results, but that ain't a boat.

Fer chrissakes, I tried to find a carrier and stumbled onto one, but can't remember the arena/free flight/dueling or whatever.

Sheesh. Our grope has not flown off of the boats for many moons, and it would be nice to do so. Gotta talk with iEN.

Expect crashes from me and maybe other Nomads.
