Field 8 is a small field on my map. Field 21 is a close medium field if the Knights are taking twin engine bombers, with field 193 close by for their fighters.

Basing the 352nd at 7, 11, 281, or even some at 184 would cut our distance to the front in half. Coming from the Kuban area would allow us to cover the 7,3 and 7,4 grids quicker as well as have more sorties to Jabo target 242. Russian planes out of 208 could be on their third sortie before we got to the front from 195.

I think the Russians will target our easternmost airfields during frame 1. We might as well use them while we can.

Just some ideas Loo.

Thank you for the helpful suggestions jlordj. I was going to try and keep us off the front lines initially but it does not look feasible. Sorry Hawk, I was not aware you had fighters. We will all move up closer to the line!

NEW BASING

352nd - F 281 and F 184

JG51 - F11

TK 77 - F7

100th and 211 - F221

Knight Bombers- F21
Knight Fighters - F193

All targets Primary and Secondary remain the same. Everyone wheels up at T+0. No divert fields.

Thank you Looboy and copy the T+0 instead of T+10.

Good luck mate!

(Put this here until something for Frame 4 gets started)

Tainan Kokutai will take Frame IV (sorry Doc ~GRIN~).

Note that in a Series in which the Front was likely "supposed" to move to the West, the enemy only has two remaining fields from which twin-engine airplanes can be launched. If either one of them could be closed in Frame 4, they would only be able to launch (3) steps of twins in Frame 5. One is in the "north" and one is in the "south-east" of the map. Closing of either of these fields would, likely, limit Frame 5 action to ground attack fighters against our fields which are rather close to the Front.

Happy trails...

F-190 at 9.5.5 and F-25 at 10.1.3.4 are the last large twin engine fields that Mother Russia has at their disposal. I agree with wolf....one of the needs to be taken out this frame. F-21 our large field in the south and F-181 in the North are 80 miles respectively from their enemy counterparts (fields 109-25)....

Just some thought....
