S3 Series

It's a RACE! No shooting or bombing permitted.

Event starts 2030hrs EST, Sunday 17 November 2024 and ends NLT 2330hrs.

All players will fly the N1K1 George with no external stores, i.e. no bombs or fuel tanks.
NB: Players flying with external stores will be disqualified from the race.
Select your aircraft and wait in the tower at F2

Route:
Link to inflight map. Replaces atoll.dds file in your Warbirds folder.
When the CM announces THE RACE IS ON and flight is enabled, launch F2 and proceeded counter-clockwise around the map.
Players MUST fly through a hangar (any size) at each and every of the gold fields. Hangers are aligned North/South or NW/SE, depending on the field.
If you fail to fly through a hangar at each field, you will be disqualified. The CM will be watching.
To complete the route, players must return to F2, fly through the hangar and land safely on the runway (gear down and intact).

The route takes ~48 minutes to fly. Manage your WEP wisely or you will run out of gas and/or damage your engine.
Practicing before the race is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED! Terrain make lining up on some of the hangars challenging.

First, Second and Third place will be awarded to the players who successfully complete the route or are
those pilots who got the farthest along the route before meeting their final demise.

Each player will have three lives. No resets for any reason.
If you crash, ditch or DISCO during the race you may restart at F2, but must re-fly the entire route.

Radar: Unlimited range, available inflight.
ICONS: Friendly ID/Click Range D24, Range D6
Min fuel: 100% (forced).
KILLSHOOTER: ON. Do not shoot at other players, you will only damage yourself!
FLAK: None.
