Not sure about your question, Wolfie.

How long does it take the buffs from Way Point marked number ONE until you get back to Way Point ONE? OR, how long does the over-continent "loop" take? Currently the fighters don't know how long to expect to be with you once we join-up.

Happy trails...

Salute!

O.K., I get it Wolfie.

WP1 should be F27 according to Dobs route, and we RTB direct to F27 after the drop.

So from F27 to the tgt is 1:10 hours. Back is about 45 minutes, but we'll be descending from about 40 miles out - just past the Koln ack. Long, long, long huh? 1: 55 hours total for the survivors.

Hope that helps. And I will check back Sunday often.

Sir Dobs,

You have the 23rd coming up from TAC36. If we have more than 12 pilots show, we will either have to be rebased or use 2 TAC fields.

According to the rules...
9. Squad Basing - each airfield has a limited amount of squad steps as well as types it may base during a frame. Squads may move to a new airfield only if there are enough steps and types available to move there during play. Larger squads may have to base at two or more airfields during play. Squads that sign-off for the night free up their base to be used by other squads.

TAC fields = 2 steps
small fields = 2 steps
medium fields = 3 steps
large fields = 4 steps

(sorry about the late catch)

Squatch....thought they defined 2 as up to 16 aircraft, but once you exceeded that it then counts as 3? Or is that just a liberal interpretation of the rules by a lawyer:)

If that is not true, then cleared to base the extras OVER 2 steppes at Tac 36.

From the sides & rides page...

SV = Step Value, relative size of a squad(1 = 1-6, 2 = 7-12, 3 = 13-18, 4 = 19-24, 5 = 25+)

Copy....then cleared to use Tac35 as your secondary base of operations for 1 Steppe. NS's will be basing out of there as well (1 steppe).
