FRAME 5 ALREADY!

The North Sea. Feb 20-25, 1944

BIG WEEK! Prelude to Invasion.

Gentlemen,

It is apparent to Allied leaders that the invasion of the European mainland
is not possible until the Luftwaffe is held in check.
Any invasion will surely be compromised without complete air superiority.

Our assignment will be to suppress the Luftwaffe by striking and closing
as many airfields as possible and destroy enemy DAR.

Plan:
All base at F26.
Everyone in force heads 090 and strikes F81, a grass field (easy target)
Continue 090 and strike F82 with remaining bombs (white and yellow
Dotted lines)

Gold dotted lines: single fighter or wing pair:
-NOE to straf DAR towers on Coasts of islands to the North.
(these smaller DARs take about 20-25% of a Jug’s ammo)
- Another break off from Buff group at 81 and straf DAR tower N 81 and E of 85
- Another Breaks off of Buff group and hits Dar at 96 and W of 89.
We basically want to destroy as many dar towers as we can to blind the enemy.

A quick aggressive strike for 1st sortie. We will get points for closing 81 and possibly 82.

Everyone RTB by T+ 80 and hold in tower. (except fighter to North taking out DARs on Northern coasts)

2nd Sortie, (RED dotted line) All roll F26 together and we finish off F82 if needed...
Then proceed to Strike F107. LW should be blind to us at least to the 8 line
if not all the way to Germany.

Like all plans, it will all go to hell after the 1st hour I’m sure…
but if we can make the 1st sortie a quick hard strike, and get RTB quickly, it may work.

The fields chosen are the easier ones to close.

Anyone with nothing to do can look for Uboats to sink and search for downed pilots....
