Good job finding and sinking the Victorious and two of her DEST2 escorts (nice torp attacks okdoc), as recorded in the log.
Although no other allied shipping was reported sunk in the buffer or in the log, at the end of the frame I was having difficulty finding the rest of her AI escorts using CMEYE. Something "odd" may have happened with the AI routine. Does anyone have any recorded bombing attacks against the other DEST1 and DEST2 escorts with Victorious?

<S> Muzz

The AEs attacked the fleet initially in the 5.7.4 area about 30-45 minutes into the frame.

They were heading North at the time, then as we attacked they circled just South of the 5.8x then continued North again.
One of the escorts was a few thousand yards NW of the main fleet on its own angled in a different direction.

We disengaged the attacks at around 10:50pm ET. Last we saw, the remaining escorts (maybe 4 or so) were heading North at around the 5.8x

Not sure if they remained there after that time or not. All AEs returned to base, so I'm not sure if anyone else continued attacks or not.

Hope this is of some help.

Yes, that does help Swanee. I suspect I may have been looking in the wrong place. By your assessment only the CV and the two DEST2 were sunk?

Let me ask okdoc- to confirm.

Besea's final drop sunk the CV and he was credited with the kill on it. (After just about everyone in the squad dropped bombs on it. Took many to kill it) I believe okdoc was hitting the destroyers afterwards.

Will let you know what he says.

Spoke to Okdoc,

AEs ship tally for the night were:

1 CV - Besea
2 DEST - Okdoc

As for other squads, I do not know if they sunk anything.
