Fair enough. The team and I will go through the log and see how many infractions the axis has. I found 3 by two pilots for the 4th. (1 player had 2 infractions). I’ll post the infractions and pilots and what penalties are.

AXIS - Frame 1-2
Special rules:
* The Axis must commit 30-50% of their pilots to fly as the IJAAF each frame. The IJAAF pilots must operate from land bases, using only IJAAF assigned airplanes. If emergency landing on a CV, the pilot loses that IJAAF fighter for the frame, but not his life and can fly a D3A or B5N from that CV instead. He can fly to a land base and change plane, but the D3A or B5N is now part of his inventory instead of the lost plane.
* 50-70% of the pilots must fly as the IJN, operating from CV's with assigned IJN planes. Individual IJN pilots can emergency refuel at land bases but squads should operate from their CV's while still afloat.

Frame 1 IJN only took off from a CV, but never returned to one except after losing that airframe, but did T/O from a CV on the next airframe to never return again until that airframe was lost.

Frame 2 were there no IJN Cv's in Frame 2 or are F2, F5, F16, F24, F28 and F38 Cv's?

Yamon-to specifically answer your question, a squad needs to determine whether it is Navy (CV based) or Army (Land based) at the beginning of the frame. For the remainder of the frame whether you rebase at a CV or an airfield you must stick with the Plane set you started with... In Frame 2 both Sides had their CV's move away from the battle to protect them. Both sides Navy's (CV based) are allowed to replane at an airfield but must stay with the Navy plane set. Hope that makes sense.

I'll post this on the allied and axis forums as well.

There are 7 allied and 9 axis that have aircraft infractions. (listed below) I was going to assign a penalty resupply mission that would take about 15-20 minutes for each pilot. However, since they are basically offsetting numbers, I am offering that we skip the penalty flights... Let me know if you prefer penalty flights.

Important moving forward. I need Squad CO's to explain to their squads (myself included), that once a pilot rolls a land based plane he must continue to fly land based plane set for the entire frame. If he rolls a CV based plane, he must continue to fly the CV plane set for that frame even if he re arms at an airfield. The plane sets are spelled out in this thread above. I know there is a lot of info, but a squad only needs to know what their specific rules are for that frame. So please know them. The S3 has always operated on the honor system. Lets honor that tradition.

As far as the adjusted Plane set goes, this is because while the axis followed the rule of 30-50% Navy (CV based plane set), the Allies did not and only had 17% in Frame 1 and 12% in Frame 2. So this is a separate topic.

nookyb,

I sent you a private message Wednesday, but never got an answer. I would've liked to have gone that route.
