A possible route, a bit obvious perhaps and does allow for stragglers to catch up and FG's to RV.

From what I can see the targets lie along a NW to SE line beginning with warehousing the towards the south, fuel & ammo dumps. There a couple of large AA towers as well. So the approach would seem to be favouring NW to SE and egress directly west once completed unless there are secondary targets.

if Hamburg is the goal, the most likely target would be Fuel

There are 4 fuel refineries in and around Hamburg. (hit two of four?)
I am working on target photos if that is chosen to be the targets.

pmhb, if thats the route you want to take, you should roll from England.

Call me crazy, but how about this? Head towards Berlin, then turn SE towards...City 95 (is it Dresden or Leipzig?). There are a ton of targets to choose from and we can egress South away from axis.

We have a P38 on a recon. mission as we are chatting. We should have photos soone. I have attached a link for a screen shot of the targets for which we was assigned.

That would be Liepzig. I think this route is even better, and will make many of the Jerries we shoot down come up around Berlin. It will take some time for them to fully communicate with each other and realise where the buffs suddenly turned. More importantly, minimal amount of Me 163 will reach us, if any.

What do we get points for? At F95 Liepzig there are:
2x Rubber refineries
2x Ball bearing refineries
2x Synthetic fuel factories
1x Chemichal plant
1x Oil storage
1x Armaments factory
1x Aluminium refinery

We could hit 5-6 of them in a row if coming in from West to East.

Recon Photos have just arrived. The weather was overcast and Hamburg gunners were ready and waiting. The pilot had to fly twice through the gauntlet of AAA to get these. Each photo was taken from from the south heading north. The photos are labeled 1 - 4. Photo 1 is fuel south west of Hamburg, Photo 2 is south east of Hamburg, Photo 3 is the southern sector of Hamburg and photo 4 is due north of Hamburg

The pilot took some shrapnel in the leg and lost a lot of blood of the flight home. He passed out before he could give us more. Doc says he will be okay.
