Time-hacks have been posted in the first post of this thread. All updates can be found there.

I am looking for the 23rd and 352nd to RP at the 5,6x at approximately T+66. Still working on timing, however.

<S>

Thank you for the time hacks. Just as a clarification, the 352nd does not know that this can be done, and has not investigated IF it can be done, but now that we have time hacks we can find out. IF as you state "Still working on timing", we still cannot determine if it can be done. When you get the "real" times, let us know, and THEN we can advise.

We have been leaving 2-steps of fighters to protect our ground assets in the first two frames. In the third frame, for the first 40-minutes, there will be 7 steps of fighters protecting our ground assets. Then, 2-steps of 352nd will cut loose and head North to join the 23rd FG at the 5,6x at T+40. It will take them approximately 25-minutes to get there at 29K feet.

EDIT:
Do you have this Frame planned as a SINGLE SORTIE for both the buffs and the escort fighters? IF any of the escorts become engaged along the front in the first part of the mission they will not be able to make the RP without having to RTB first. With an RTB worked into the equation, the timing at the 5,6X may vary. Additionally, it would prohibit the use of the P-38L by any of the escort fighters due to endurance considerations.

Happy trails...

DEW, I received your DTF file and see that it doesn't take long to get to those targets. Could you have the radars down by T+30? Would that give you all time to get back to base and rearm for attacking ships or other targets? Also, I'd like there to be a delay in taking down the last radar at Rotterdam. Of all the radars, it is the most vital.

I can get the first 4 down before T+30. The 5th on up north will be down about T+33. The Rotterdam array will be attacked approx: T+45/50. We could delay the Rotterdam even further if we rearm at LAF26 and hit it as we go back north. Tell me what works for you.

Just remember those AI flak concentrations are murder down low. You wont be sure where the 88s are until they start to open up on you.

AS I see the changes on P1, the 4th and 23rd are Defense of our front line area, correct? 352nd will be escort and only 1 route for buffs?

Correct, PAPPY.

There are 11 stared targets that the Axis must hit to pick up points, plus shipping near L26. I don't think they will try to hit L19 or M24, yet. However, several of them only require a few targets to close and four of them are bridge spans. A couple of those TAC fields only have 2 hangars or 2 small fuels to close them. Please take a look at each one to determine how best to protect them. The last thing we need is them closing down several fields in this frame.

Between the 23rd and 4th, we have approximately 34 pilots. If we plant 2-3 fighters over each starred target we should be looking good for protection.

The enemy could base at TAC fields along the front line and L53, L54 and a few close medium fields and in a matter of minutes be over those starred targets. They can strike these targets and be gone before we get to them from bases too far away. Let's consider basing our fighters at our forward TAC fields would help us.

Thanks <S>

Salute!

I am confused about "final orders".

Plan A or Plan B?

Regardless, Nomads, all three of us, will be there. Pd has a broken PC, so it's two old farts and one middle-aged dude.

We'll use Plan A if it looks like we'll have enough bombers/bombs/fighters to make it to L69. If not, we'll use Plan B.

Will WLDBIL be flying with us again? We could use another bomber pilot.
