As it turns out, the 4th was supposed to be based at 117 Toungoo not 86 where we were launching...my bad.

So I've decided that the CO's of the offending squads will fly a penalty mission of their first sortie.

Axis: will fly from 99 to 132 in a Nakajima L2D.

Allied: will fly from from 46 to 47 in a C-47

Possible plan.
Mission 1:

1st and 2nd AVG P40E 500lbs. Launch Kunming 47. Make haste to RV with 3rd AVG and 67 Squadron at F160. Try to time arrival for coordinated attack.

3rd AVG: P40E 500lbs Launch Toungoo 117. Fly SE to f158. RV with British 67 Squadron..proceed to 160

67Squadron Hurricane1 bombs if available. RV with 3rd AVG at f158. Turn Direct to attack F160.


RTB to 144.

Mission 2 all can roll from 144.

ANY HURRICANES THAT GET SHOT DOWN. you have 2 options:
take off from 144 in a Hurricane or
take off from 117, 124 or 125 in a P40E

ANYONE THINK WE SHOULD HAVE A FEW B-25'S?

Or do we send groups to multiple fields?

They don’t know which fields we are hitting. So if someone wanted to hit 99 maybe we could pull a bunch of them N and away from Thailand.

B-25s out of 47 going East of Hanoi and then south to hit the two grass field in the the south might be a good idea. I like.

Is F99 on the target list?

no

so we would go for closing the field as a distraction?

not close, but if they see it getting hit in the buffer it might distract them.
