Furious fighting at the front as England counterattacks! In a bold move the RAF struck at advanced German positions in a bid to drive the invader into the sea. Successful attacks shut down German advances at Gravesend,West Malling, Rochford, Hawking and radar station Dunkirk closing them. Eastchurch, Beachy Head and Rye were all captured by English forces but renewed offensive efforts by German forces recaptured Rye and Beachy head and closed Eastchurch. Valiant efforts were made to recapture Manston and Lympne with furious infantry/airborne forces but they could not be held, remaining in German hands. the final seconds of the battle determined the fate of Manston with a last minute attempt to capture it. Much damage was done to German held Detling airfield but closure could not be achieved. Meanwhile the German consolidated their gains as best they could capturing and putting back into operation port facilities at Dover and repairing damage at Lympne and Manston airfields. German damage control parties are working furiously to put into operation a forward fighter base at Detling and Lympne while forward light bomber forces move into Manston. Fields closed and capturable by English forces, 37,33,35,68, 18. Field closed and capturable by German forces 19 34 stayed open by end of frame and will be open to 1 squad of fighters for Germany 32 will reopen and light bombers(110's, ju-52) and fighters available there. 6 will reopen and 1 squad of fighters available there. Closed fields will not be counted toward victory conditions. Locations must be open and operable by end of frame, or eligible for reopening. These fields would be 18,37,33,35,19,68. The status of the fields for what would be the beginning of a following frame will determine victory. example...37,33,35,18,68 are closed for next frame but would reopen the following frame meaning Germany held onto them.....and would count 19 is closed next frame but would reopen meaning England maintained control. Any field closed next frame would be closed following (6th) frame meaning they wouldn't count toward victory. example, 32,6,78,89,1,34. Hope this helps and wanted to get it up early for questions ( please).
