Hmmm I think if we totally remove the collision bubble we are going to get people flying right through the enemy on purpose... Id rather see if the is a way to make the bubble smaller.

If flying thru another plane has no effect then it doesn't really matter.
The collision model was put in the game to slow down the HO attacks,
to make players think about doing an HO. It's not working because of
the lag and warping. You can be as careful as you can be and still
have a collision because an airplane isn't where it appears to be in
your FE. No amount of care or skill can beat lag or warp which is
totally random.

The only way to stop the HO's is to go back to One Life. There were no HO's back then....

I'll agree, if they were both fighters.
I've flown LW in a number of 'kill the allied buffs' series during the times of One Life to Live. We made many successful HO attacks on buffs.

By the time USAAF bombers were heading into Germany your German plane had at least 1 good cannon, if not 4, doesn't compare with 4 303's.

Collision bubble should be removed from bombers so the 303's can get close enough to do real damage, not just chip the paint

If the collision bubble is removed then I would postulate that it would be possible to shoot a large plane down from inside of it while being out the firing arc of its defensive guns. For example: come in under a Lancaster where it has no belly gunner, climb up "inside", then fire. The damage boxes at the front of the plane will register damage and the plane can be destroyed.

Instead of removing the collision bubble, make it so that both planes in a collision are damaged. In this series alone, I was the victim of a collision (I don't believe it was intentional) and the other aircraft flew away. My plane? Completely destroyed.
