I'm no expert, but I believe when a 'field' is reported as closed in the buffer there still can be ack guns active there, as they are not required to be destroyed to close a 'field'. Correct?

It is the morning of our offensive. Herr Hitler expects a great victory. The new weatherman reports mid to low sporadic cloud cover from 5k up to 11k. With this new report, I suggest buffs come in the target area at 15k and hope for an unobstructed view over target.

Split. You may be correct. The 3rd sortie may involve a few tanks and m5 trooper with air cover. Tanks can take out the remaining gv’s so troops can get in. We will have to see what kind of plan the Russians throw at us...

Also...
When you want to drive any GV remember that the no teleporting rules still apply. One way to get to the proper field/post you want to roll your gv from would be to do so after losing a life. Losing a life allows you to teleport.

One could ditch an airframe at the post you want to drive from. But I think you lose your airframe? Of course you could drive to an airfield after your mission to fly a different airframe, but they are distant.

I don’t want anyone dying on purpose if we need to fly there in a junky plane and land at a post, we’ll do that.
