Der Führer is most pleased with the advance into Allied held territory on the ground and in the air. He has demanded that we continue to beat them into submission as he has declared that the Red Army will soon collapse and then we will be amply supplied with men and material to force the Allies out of Africa! Continue to push them back as it becomes more apparent to all that the Germanic fighting forces are far superior to their own. We will achieve absolute victory! To this effect:
First Sortie (T+0):
- DR launch from Field 6 and hit Field 83 and return to Field 6. (Test run took 10 minutes total round trip in Ju-88's with WEP.)
- 4th launch heavy 109's from Field 6 and provide DR escort and jabo strike 83 to clean up. (If enemy interceptors encountered, try to avoid having the entire squad dropping ordinance and engaging.)
- Lf6 launch from Field 86 and protect from attacks on 86 from Field 20 and/or 94. Aircraft of choice, lift heavy and be ready to close Field 40 if the Allies don't attack from the South. Otherwise, lose ordinance and engage enemy. RTB to 86 or 16 to prepare for second sortie.
Intel on Field 83 (Click for larger image)Second Sortie:
- DR launch from Field 6 and hit Fields 20 and 21. RTB to Field 6
- 4th launch from Field 6 and escort DR strike and egress. Prepare to cover possible trooping of Field 83.
- Lf6 launch heavy and NOE from Field 86 or 16 (depending on which field you returned to from the previous sortie) and head East past Field 94 and head South. Hit Field 94 from the East.
AI Bombers are to launch at T+60 from Field 4 and hit Field 80.
Remember to stay fluid as the night progresses and
everything changes.
I would prefer we hold off on capturing closed fields until later in the frame so that there is less time for counterstrikes to reclose them upon capture.
Good luck and good hunting!
