S3 Series

4th upped 12 + WildBill. We sent Coolone and WB NOE in B-25s to the western tip of the island to sink shipping. This mission was very successful with all available ships sunk and no losses. The rest of us hit 118 in hvy 38s as directed but did not close it and by the time we recovered to 172 it was swarming with LW. We attempted to defend without success so moved to 163 to try and put a dent in there attack. After two losses in fighters, bombr- upped in a B-25 and went around the island to port at F-10 to sink shipping. Again the mission was a success. Coolone made a second strikeat 10 a bit later and sank the remaining shipping, however, the LW finally sent some fighters to defend and found him NW of the island trying to rtb. The remainder of the frame 4, then 3 - 4 4th men attempted to engage the LW but were forced back to F212. It would have been a better frame had the Macci had the correct flight model and the Allies had a better selection of aircraft light Liberators operating from North Africa and P-51c, but oh well. You did a great job, their entire airforce was on the East side most of the frame.
