assigned task to protect physical assets along our front line.
Rolled p-47's max ammo
Bored holes in the sky for a while, waved to the 352nd as they went by. OUt of position when jets attacked 23 by 30 miles, got vectored north to hopefully catch em on egress. Saw one, perhaps 2....foo dove in and had one in his sights.....he vanished without a trace. IN injun country now.
We bugged out south and rtb for fuel.
Wilz had a great idea to take 1 flight east to kill some ai. 23rd gci vectored em in whilst the rest of us headed to 26 area. Wilz flight took out some ai's. Restof us got in position tween 34 and 26. Saw a report fo some fast movers and without awating orders we vectored to 34 on a intercept course. 36 started erupting into flames and we bounced several jets..brushman killing one and ack oil leaking another, no hope catching em, we reformed, headed to 26 to kill some more ai. Killed 2 ai. I had a emergency and had to land an log. I was informed later the rest of the group continued a uneventful patrol of the front line.
claims 6 ai and 1 jet, forced another one to pull the plug....he came back and killed foo next sorte for our only loss.
Jabo, how about giving foo a free LL?

Yessir, got screenshots etc. It was also the same guy who 2nd sorte used guns on one of our guys, so, if he was willing to go guns on us, he is willing to pull the plug if he thought he was gonna go down. I am also of a mind that we DID get across their egress route and rather than fly thru us, they went north landing at 44. Said they landed because of fuel, but who plans a mission around not having enough fuel to rtb to the proper base.
NO matter, whatever was said, is they taking responsibility for it and are flying penalty planes for 1 mission. Whether or not we forced that on em don't matter at this point. Result is the same.
