I believe that either nofly or whawk had put together some instructions or perhaps even a guide on how to make DTF files.
I've not been able to come across it for now. Anyone have a link to it or able to post it??

What are you trying to do? Just draw on the map, or something a bit more complicated? For map drawing, I use a tool I wrote based on Whawk's tutorial.
