First sortie basing: LF6- F80 352nd- F95 23rd- F53
All roll at T=0 Lots of fuel, as bases are not closeby. F80 and F53 are our closest fields to the action areas.
LF6- head to your patrol area as indicated on map. 352nd- head to your patrol area as indicated on map. 23rd- head to your patrol area as indicated on map.
LF6l- Primary objective is to protect radar at F72. This is our most important radar site. I suggest you fly in two elements if possible with both looking for noe radar hunters, one watching the N and the other the S. There are lots of targets in your area for noe raiders, keep your eyes looking down.
352nd- Objective is to be in position to engage anything on radar inbound (i.e. with altitude) while patrolling. Not many targets in your area so noe raiders are not likely, however there are two ports with ships anchored. You may be called upon to send a few folks to support either the LF6 or 23rd. Two elements separated in your patrol area as appropriate would be good. I will be GCI and keep you informed of the radar picture for intercept as needed.
23rd- Haul ass up to your patrol area with minimal altitude until on station, then you can climb more. The allieds could be arriving noe about the same time you do. You have two important radar stations there. F56 is more important to defend than F65.
Keep in mind that we will be on their radar most places. Their NOE raiders will use rivers if it leads anywhere near their targets. I don't want to engage with their fighters early on unless they have heavies with them. We all know how to do what I want best. Feel free to adjust the orders as you see fit to accomplish the mission given. Remember a dead pilot contributes nothing more for the night. Good Luck Folks <S>
