reminder on ai bomber attacks. They dump their entire load on a single target then they are done. Also, with a large formation, several of them may choose to attack the same target.
Since ya got some maneuver room, hit tanks etc that score points, spits keep LW at bay and hit bombers?
go deep with your ai bombers, are you offering up points to the LW when they shoot em down?
Last two frames we HAD to go after them aggressively (6/18). do we have to now, or just sit back and rack up points hitting ther gv comumns and killing THIER bombers who HAVE to come to us?

Sleepy, Unless Donkey dar gives them away, they would be reaching targets at T+35. The entire LW should be over England at that time and would probably not be expecting this move. I think they could get in and out unscathed. With a Northern attack and southern attack I think lw would have issues getting both if they did divert. Lw fuel and ammo should be spent by then and taking a trip north or south would be unwise. I believe 109s only have about 60 min of fuel (?). If the bombers dont close it they still would be hitting multiple 2 pt targets.

The 109s have about 90 minutes of fuel on 100%. 60 if they are on full WEP so ~75 minutes at least.

For what it's worth we can have the AIs hit Dover around T+15 and have them land at 32 about T+26. The LW will have to give up all their alt to go after them and we could have our fighters over there before they get to England.

53 has about 5 industrial targets - rest are houses and warehouses.
3 has mostly refinery tanks and a factory and couple of warehouses and dar.

1 has 31 targets that are in the Radar/Bridge/Industrial category + many more in the warehouse, Fuel category etc.

In all practicality even with 32 AI bombers carrying 4500lbs of ordinance each we will not be able to close F1. Mainly because of what Sleepy elaborated before, that they don't always end up hitting unique targets and they dump their ord just once. But we will be able to down more targets than at 53/3

There are many points to be had in the F1 area, including high value ships off the coast. I imagine they will keep a cap over France, boring holes in the sky if we don't go there. Shortened lines of attack (i.e. hitting F1) seems like the best option. Force them to come to us, or at least meet them halfway near F1.

OK I will heed the advice (although who won a war by being conservative). Let's plan on hitting F1 with the 32 simultaneously arriving N / S pincer of bombers and get what points we can. I think we should plan it to arrive at approximately T+75. Noflyz, it would be great if you can modify the last script to target F1 area instead... The 8 northern route ones should stay at 1000ft like last time to show up as radar contact for LW and draw them away from the group of 24 coming from F7 (starting NOE and popping as they approach target).

Draft squad assignments (please weigh-in with alternate desires, if you have them):
8thFG/RCAF @ F37 - Hurri bombers - Target German Ground Vehicles/Tanks (1.5 to 0.75 pts each)
352ndFG @ F33 - Spitfires - Air Defense and Cover 8thFG/RCAF (or would you prefer to add some Hurris?)
23rdFG @ F43 - Hurri bombers - Hunt ships NOE (3-6 pts each). Pop as needed to attack. After light, hunt the LW anti-shipping strikes (NS had at least 2 JU88s - 3pts each)

352nd Rides
Some of our pilots liked the Hurri in a fighter role. If our assignment is air CAP over the F-1 area, let us assemble the flight to meet your needs with whatever aircraft are serviceable on Sunday. The Hurris would have to lift "heavy" and then jet their ord over an unpopulated area.

Happy trails...

Dewolf go ahead with a mix of spits and hurries. If you can put holes in lw ground assets instead of good fertile farm land

Jabo's frame 2 summary indicates 24 Wellingtons were lost. I didn't see a single one get awarded to an enemy pilot! I even watched them all RTB... Confused...
