With Darrel's computer being down I was asked to get the DR rolling and on the way to target. Sitting in their Teamspeak I waited for several to appear and talk about the mission. Unfortunately there were only a few who came in and they were not able to make it that night. Tracker however, was able to make it so we came into the arena and looked for more to show.

At T-0 command staff decided not to waste escorts on a two man flight of B-24s and ordered us to join the Nomad/Nightstalker B-25 anti shipping strike.

Gums, Tracker & myself waited for about 5 minutes and then rolled from F191. As soon as we did we found ourselves in a bad situation as one of us upped at the wrong field. We eventually rallied at 194 and were joined by Gundoc and Muskyz. We headed north towards the target area much later than we had wanted to.

Calls of multiple convoys came across the radio, we chose the ones just south west of Nagasaki and headed in. Eventually we spotted multiple convoys and were able to grab altitude and level bomb them. Many ships were destroyed and finished off from the earlier strike from the 4th fighter group who was in the area hitting many ships also. Eventually some cons showed up and we got out of there as best we could. I had sent a wingman south and took him to the 179 port area and strafed and bombed some static ships...

Gundoc had one of his wingmen stuck on the ground so he was able to switch and get up again and head back to attack again. Gums & I piled in as gunners and rode with him. bombed some more static ships as the lights killed some too. again cons came in, I was able to get good guns on one but what saved us was one of the fighters took him out right on our six. Gundoc had the forethought to send a wingman back to where all the AI shipping was so we were able to sink another freighter before losing an engine and limping home after T160 dont know any totals but we got a bunch of ships.

Salute!

A great mission, and results should be great.

I would recommend that the buff-a-holics try for the convoys again (nand remind Gums to check his laurh base!!!).

We can stay real low and then pop for drop, then maybe scoot home.

Gaming the game, we could have a drone or two back at F194 or so, then teleport there if we get shot down. I do not like this aspect of the new system, and would prefer the original concept where wingies took off with ya and bombed what you human dweeb bombed.

Gums opines...
