 Post subject: 4th AAR S3-102 F4 Report

Feb 12, 2017 4th AAR S3#102 Frame 4 OPS Report

Sortie 1:
4th had 15 pilots report. Launched at 19:30 CST circled F191 forming up.
Head NOE North on the 1 line turned NW at the 1.4X heading to 0.5, N to 0.6, east to 1.7 and onto
2.7 skirting IJN island avoiding enemy DAR. Staying NOE the 4th FG flew to the 2.7X and turned NE.
Our attack started by climbing in vicinity of 2.7.6.3 and turning east until we picked up enemy shipping.
Attacked shipping in F93 and F94 losing 10 AC to INTENSIVE FLAC and sinking 10 + vessels. Remaining
4 AC RTB heading SW to the 2.7X then to 1.6X turning SE to head to the 2.6X and attacking enemy
shipping sinking 3 more enemy vessels. After attack turned SW to the 1.5.3 and RTB to F191 without
further incident landing at 21:40 CST.

Sortie 2:
Launched 21:45 CST for nearest enemy shipping at F182. Lost 1 pilot over F182 sinking
2 Destroyers and 1 Cargo. Jumped by e/a the remaining 4th pilots took evasive action leaving the
area, curtailing attacks due to time constraints and separating themselves from e/a to RTB F194
loosing 1 addition pilot. The two active pilots landed F194 at 22:45 CST.
