http://www.squadselectseries.com - FTP issues new map and summary up on Sat

In the second frame many Allied B25s were grounded because mice had eaten some of their control wires. A unit of B24s was hurriedly brought in but new to the Okinawa area they failed to RV with their veteran fighter escort south of 186 and went in alone against a dedicated George intercept force. 20 of 24 B24s were shotdown with minimal ground damage before escorts could catch up to them on the outbound leg. Many banzais were heard over the radio as several Japanese aces landed kills at home over the hated terror bombers.

The few B25s that could get up accounted for themselves well. First taking out the important radar site of F186, then closing the port at 187 with fighter support. Later the would rush to hit the shipping off of 179 port sinking many anchored ships. At the end of the night they were screaming home at water level having scored much success against the Japanese merchant fleet.

The second sortie of the B24 unit straight from the States was much better with a coordinated escort that accounted for several brash Japanese fighters that attempted to attack the white whales. This time not one heavy was lost though a malfunction in the lead ship caused a miss drop and the Japanese countryside was spared once again.

Both sides are not far apart with the Japanese in the lead by less than 30 points. F187 and F186 added to the closed field list for the rest of the series.

Notes
1. AI issues with the B25 drones beaching themselves on F186 where at least 6 were strafed down as their players returned home.
2. AI B25s just wouldnt behave in testing before the frame so were replaced by B24s that seemed to work fine but were placed in the wrong location by yours truly throwing off their nicely organized and planned first sortie escort.
3. AI in mbl routines continue to go down with snap shots from all directions. Ongoing issue.
4. Reduced the number of kills scored on the B24s and added some ground targets to the second drop by the same bombers. Only for framing scoring for each side individually nothing adjusted.
5. George reported to lose wings at 6 Gs. This FM has not been looked at by the FM crew.
6. Correct me if I am wrong(and I often am) but Juice teleported from a non-airfield to another field and should recieve a penalty plane. In this crowded terrain it is easy to do.

Sensei could roll a C47 and still get three kills and an assist.

Those B-25 drones that were beached still shot me down as I flew by.

I just checked through the .pps file.
The N1K1 George G-limit is set at 7.0 G's.
The Ki-84 "Frank" however has a max G-limit of 6.0 G's.
I don't have the data Dawger used for these settings, but 6 & 7 G's is at least in line with most other flightmodels.

Also it is correct that both the Ki-84 and N1K1 do not climb or turn as fast as they used to. This is because their liftco has been reduced a bit since they were overperforming before. They now have a climb rate closer to historical, which also affects their turn rate and stall speed limit, making them closer to real performance numbers.
