Pssst, Hey dazed  Just a word.

You realize Besea is CO of "the", premier fighter squadron in WB? One of the planes they do best in is the Messerschmitt 109.

Once in S3 a single pilot in AE took on two squadrons of allied planes for over a half hour and beat them, in a 109. Mustangs and P47s.
Ask one of your old timers in 475 how many times AE has busted them up, drove them down or made their mission ineffective over the last years (usually when outnumber).

So in future any questions about 109s or operations. You might want to ask Besea his advice. For that mater most of his pilots could help you as well.
AE also specializes in Spitfires, and most all U.S. naval types.

:| Once had a school teacher who said: "It's not bragging if its undisputed fact. Stand straight and tall, look at em in the eye and tell it straight."

But thanks for the advice anyway.

Think I'll just take some lessons from Gflyer who wound up with 8 kills tonight (I think), in the Bf-110G2.

I allowed our little flock of 4 110's to arrive on the bomber group before strippers arrived. Took down 6 bombers (5 of them by Gflyer), and then Gflyer just went all apes on the Allied and took out 3 fighters with his 110 before calling it a night and putting the airplane back in the hangar. Dobs made a late appearance and wound up with a bomber kill before hitting the silk.

Pretty miserable night for the LW it seems. Sorry Hawk, I was afraid we were arriving ahead of the strippers and should have delayed our initial merge heading until I saw strippers engaging the escorts.

No problem Dazed. I knew with the low turn out, it was going to be a hard night for us.

Still, your little band of misfits did a great job and I appreciated the efforts.

Everyone that showed up gave 100% and to me, that was great.

Congrats Gflyer and the 110G2 pilots! Good work. Those cannon pods are awesome against the Lancs.
