The points don't lie. Frame 4 was a success because we destroyed the majority of their buffs before they got to Malta. As Jabo pointed out in his summary, the single minded attack on the buffs made the difference. However, I can't help thinking that 352nd's total dedication to only air to air combat has been a great boon for our side. Malta has targets with extremely high point values that a bomb laden 352nd could easily close with their numbers while retaining the ability to jettison bombs when necessary. Instead, they've left most of the bombing to Doolittle's Raiders while they run around shooting down low point Allied aircraft.

Lucky for us.

we need to protect Malta more with a cap. otherwise were not going to have anyplace to land. I rather be near the island versus being in a furball.

If your first thought is "where will we land?" you have already lost.

In this series, you dont land unless you are out of gas and everyone in your formation is out of ammo.

If one guy has ammo, everyone else should be trying to wrap the enemy fighters into hard turning, furballs on the deck and get them to spin in while that last guy with 3% 303's is making passes at them.

A standing CAP at Malta will do nothing to prevent the enemy bombers from dropping bombs on Malta.

If the enemy is foolish enough to come en mass again in bombers we will smack them hard again AWAY from Malta before they get there ( unless they have a clever fighter commander who understands remote and close escort)

We face long odds to pull out a win but we are certainly going to try....

going to the deck in a furball is immediate death and doesn't always work. its wiser to boom and zoom on enemies versus getting slow in a turning fight. that's a solid fact.

If you would actually read for comprehension......

During the period between nautical twilight and nautical dawn the sky is black.

Did they teach you that in Safe Space 101? Everyone who disagrees with you or corrects your errors is a bully?

You want to be able to post whatever you like, pester folks on their private cell phones, run to Jabo when you don't get your way and run and hide behind "Dawger is a meanie" when you get some push back.

That may work with Mommy and Daddy but not in the real world or even in this virtual world.

You are 28 years old. Learn to accept responsibility.

You quit the 475FG. We did not kick you out. It was the decision YOU made. Stop your petty vendetta and be at peace with your decisions. You will be happier for it.

How to fight is entirely up to the match up. Don't play the enemy's game, play yours. Spitfire outside of the XIV is not a BnZer, 109 will get you eventually in dives and climbs. Of all of the 109's jack of all trades-master of none qualities, in the vertical it is the most capable with its light weight and relatively monster engine. While the 109 can match a tight turn initially, especially early war, in sustained turns the Spitfire will beat it's pants off every time.

Dawger for every decision I make in life or in the virtual world I do take responsibility. I didn't go behind anyone's back, and I'm 26 not 28. Also I call others a bully when they are being the bully such as yourself. I don't pester anyone on their cell phones either unless I have a question to ask them. I left your squadron because of personal reasons.
I'm not the immature one here. if you don't like how I fly or me as person that's your problem not mine.

26? That makes all the difference. Pardon me, please carry on. Sorry to mistake you for an immature 28 year old. 26 is still basically a pre-teen.
