Darryl,

Sorry your guys have to deal with the BS on your TS channel. I have not had much time in game except for S3's, so I don't hear much of anything unless it on the forums. With the state of iEN's TS server always going out and not working it is the main reason I have one for JG-51 (now LF-6). It is not expensive, less than $18.00 a month.

If needed you are more than welcome on our TS for the S3 until you get your answers from iEN. I can set up your own channel for your squad if needed.

Let me know

Any non-bomber pilots who are flying a bomber in frame IV. Please post below and arrange to be on TS or incontact with Gums.

Gums ... For now I will assume you are bomber lead unless someone else steps in.

I should be in a bomber, unless a lot of other bomber pilots show.
Just checked Nomads TS and I'm good there.

Thanks, DART!

WLDBIL jumped on TS tonight and got us squared away. Our TS now has a password after 7 years of not needing one. Everyone is still welcome to jump on TS with us, just ask for the password from the guys.

Hope to have 6-7 bombers or more.

JU-88's will work great with about 60% gas/4 x 500 KG eggs and we can recover at F205 or elsewhere.

The proposed route is really long, and last week we used 157 and were at 18K early. Buffs will likely cut the corner for timing, otherwise cruise real slow and have another beer. Maybe two.

Looking at stuff and looks like boats could still be good tgts. Rules don't seem to show them staying sunk, tho' the convoys have been decimated by the LW folks and seem to be CNX rest of the series. Too bad, 'cause real scenario depended on the Allied boats and subs for supplies. The siege wasn't over until RAF and RN and even USN used carriers to bring in more Spits to gain air superiority.

Port intell later, but we done great last frame, huh?

GUMMY:
If we take He111, we can double the number of 500lbs bombs (8). It would be better to have the higher load, unless you have a better reason for not taking them. Totally agree on the route being very long. Taking out the shipping last frame was excellent move.

Just suggesting,
Darryl <S>

Should the 4th/352nd breach Allied radar at the same time as bombers, some 10-15 min before the buffs or go Malta ASAP after take-off, sir?

Horrido!

I already begged off of buff lead, but have had moments to briefly check in and stay current.

I see HE-111 with 8 x 250 KG eggs ( figure 500 pounders) , and JU-88 with 4 by 500 KG eggs ( figure 1200 pounders). Big difference in destruction radius. Also slower plane, less climb rate, etc.

I cannot lead, and the Nomads will follow DR now that TS works. Still need a buffer keybd channel, tho.

There are still boats at 229 port and those little "piers" actually count same as "bridges", so they are good tgts.

I still thing our takoff field is OTL, so maybe we can turn to 4,6 X or someplace to get a 125 run-in on Malta at 20K. No need to take more than 50% gas with any buff.

Will check in later between home duties.

10 to 15 minutes before the buffs and their escort hit radar in the west would be ideal. I would also suggest otr at T+0 but not roll till about t+15. Use your best guess on this so that you will have the fuel to bring the buffs home.

I will be in the arena tonight about 30 minutes before the frame starts and we can work out any final questions on this.

From our base at F-124, coming East to pick-up the 4th, it will take the 352nd approx. 25 minutes to cross the radar circle at 10,5 X at 27 thousand feet.

Happy trails...
