Horrido!

Here's the files and notes.

Unless Cool or Dew tkes the lead, guess Gums will do so.

- F157, SP5, 50% gas, climb at 155/100% to F217. Follow the yellow brick road! We should level at 18K or so and get to F217 about T+30.
- try using "ladder" form and 100 feet spacing
- cruise at 90%
-egress east and descend to 500 feet once feet wet at 300 mph nd maybe idle. The 88 has dive brakes, so use them to keep from overspeed
- we scoot north at 100%

Found a mobile gun out to the left/north of our run-in. It should go and that pilot can use rest of eggs on boats and things. That is one tgt a guest lite pilot could try.

Then we have another GV out east that is on line B - the furthest east. The two huts can be taken by one salvo if lucky, but better to have two folks hit and last pilot hit the right AT75 doofer.

Pick tgts as able at the port if we get a field closed message, or we'll have to go back!!!

Here's what tgts look like:

The dtf is here: http://www.sluf.org/warbirds/som3.dtf

I'll check files and correct if problems

Gums, jabo PM'd me some details the other day, one of which is the fact that ack guns don't have to go down for closure...just AT/Arty guns need destroyed.

Copy that, boss.

However, the two 75's G6001 and G6002 are labeled as AAA in the S6 log:

F220G6001(AAA Gun), hit 2x
F220G6002(AAA Gun), hit 2x
F220G3001(AAA Gun), hit 1x

So how do we tell what AAA is "ack" and what is a ground arty piece?

I say kill the ones that are not clearly labeled as ack. For example, and from F221:

F219G0001(AAA Gun), hit 2x Was not required for closure, and was a basic ack gun.

The "G00'x' " designation has been around for eons, so no biggie. But the new G6 and G3 should be named something else than AAA. I also could not find them in the "show" file that indicates tgts required for closure. Sheesh, we need our guardhouse lawyer - Dewolf!!!

I tink "grndlabels" shows the calibre, but not the closure requirement. Gotta check gor those "G6" doofers.

Nothing called 75mm - AT is on the list of "OT" Targets. The guns listed are NOT required.

If that is true, Wolfie, then F220 should be closed if we just take out the two huts.

HT001 and HT004, huh?

Herr Gums takes a break to buy Frau Gums Marguerita at Pepitos.

I dunno about that wolf, here's part of jabo's PM to me:

" AAA guns dont count for the field but AT guns and Arty does. I saw some trucks up and an AT gun. I dont have the exact list in front on me. But you should be able to close it with a few bombers or strafing 109s. "

Grndlabels shows 75AT there I think though. I'd rather err on the side a destruction if possible : :D
Don't know how else to interpret what he said.

Your call, any way it cuts. All I am observing is that there is no "OT" target called 75mm -- AT, and that all the other "big guns" are shown on the "OT" list, but not "required". "Arty" positions are on the "OT" list and are frequently "required".

Our lowly buff grope of Stalkers and Nomads/UMM will hit lines b,c, d and e. If we have five folks, then we'll hit line A and gang up on boats downstream. If that left doofer on line A is a required tgt and we don't close 220, we'll throw the foul flag and hunt Jabo down like a wild animal - I am an ex-spec ops old fart ( 604th ACS) and have friends, so he can run, but he'll only die tired.

Secondly, we would like to descend once feet wet if our lil' frineds can keep up with us. Intent is to get below dar and then turn north after a bit. Should be exciting and fun ( but not REAL fun, heh heh).

Herr Gums sends and heads to fishing pond...

P.S. Here's the pic of one of the 75mm doofers when using "grndlabels"
