Text Orders

Ni/69th Field 221 Wellingtons 55% fuel (This is enough fuel to fly the entire frame at 100% throttle) Spitfire Vc 100% fuel and DROP TANK

Wellingtons and Spits will takeoff at T+0 and head soth along the BLUE ARROW. Once well south, GCI will exercise POSITIVE CONTROL over your formation. In other words you will be issued headings as directed by GCI/FRAME CO until notified that you are released. The goal is to keep you away from enemy and to arrive over Lampedusa with every Allied fighter either with your formation or over the target. You will be released to your own navigation prior to breaking the enemy radar coverage. The general plan is for you to loiter in the PURPLE box arriving near the north end when the AE/8th/475/RCAF enter the ORANGE box. Once released to strike, you will hit F217 then egress Southeast to loiter at 814 grid coordinates until directed to RTB Malta. There will not be a second sortie unless your RTB happens prior to T+110. Your fighters will remain with you until you clear radar on egress and then they will JOIN the other fighter forces enroute to MALTA.

AE/8th Field 218 Spitfire Vc 100% fuel and 500 lb bomb.

AE/8th will depart when ordered by FRAME CO and will climb on heading 255 to 10,000 feet. At 10,000 feet you will level and go direct F217 on Lampedusa at 100% throttle, where you will drop your bombs on AAA emplacements at field 217. After ordnance is expended you will climb over F217 to rejoin 475/RCAF. After Wellingtons strike you will escort Wellingtons off radar then proceed direct to Malta with all other fighters to CAP Malta for the remainder of the frame.

475FG/RCAF Field 225
475FG/RCAF will depart when ordered by FRAME CO and will climb on heading 260 until visual contact with AE/8th. You will escort AE/8th to F217 and cover their strike. You will then cover the Wellingtons striking F217 until they egress off enemy radar, then you will proceed to Malta with ALL FRIENDLY FIGHTERS FORMING ON YOUR LEAD.

ALL

ONCE the Wellingtons begin egress from F217, All fighters will be considered as ONE UNIT and will be directed as such. 475FG will have immediate tactical lead for ALL fighters once Wellingtons are over F217 until the end of the frame. Once over F217 every fighter should endeavor to within visual range of the 475FG/RCAF formation. FOr the remainder of the frame fighter forces will CAP Malta. In the remote event of a second Wellington strike, you may all go escort them. We shall see.

What fuel loadout do you want the 475/RCAF to take 100% Internal and drop tank, burn down to 72 gal internal then switch to drop tanks. If we don't see combat action an Lampsdeusa we will have lots of loiter time over Malta. ;)

This is exactly right. Thanks for pointing out my ommosion

100 + drop for 475/RCAF ( and the ni/ 69th escorts) burn internal to 72 gals then external until dry.
